Whole-boat day hire · Trawangan · Meno · Air

The whole boat is yours for the day

Captain, crew, fuel and snorkel gear included, for one per-boat price instead of per head. Your group sets the route across Trawangan, Meno and Air — no strangers aboard, no fixed departure clock.

A Gili Islands private boat charter means the entire boat is yours — captain, crew, fuel and snorkel gear included — for one fixed per-boat price instead of per head.

  • You pay for the vessel, then fill it with whoever you like.
  • Your group sets the order and length of every stop.
  • The public boat from Bangsal is a shared fare on a fixed route, not a private hire.
  • Arranged directly by Bali Premium Trip, chartering here since 2015.

On every charter

What a whole-boat charter covers

The standard package covers the parts that make an island-hopping day work without surprises.

The whole boat

Your group only. Nobody else is aboard and no seats are resold.

Captain and crew

A licensed captain and boat crew who read the tides daily.

Fuel for the route

Fuel for the itinerary you agree before you board.

Snorkel gear

Masks, fins and life jackets on board in adult and child sizes.

Route planning

Your stops across Trawangan, Meno and Air, sequenced around the tide.

Turtle and sunset stops

Turtle-snorkel points and a sunset cruise leg, if the day allows.

Quoted separately

Add-ons, if you want them

None of these is bundled. Each one is listed line by line in your quote, so nothing is settled on the jetty.

Photographer or drone

An onboard photographer, or drone footage of the boat under way.

Action-camera rental

A GoPro or action camera for the snorkel stops.

Lunch upgrade

A seafood BBQ on board, or a restaurant stop ashore.

Drinks and fruit

Chilled drinks and a fresh-fruit platter kept on ice.

Pickup coordination

Hotel or jetty pickup timed to your boat, arranged in advance.

Dry bags and sunscreen

Dry bags for phones, and reef-safe sunscreen.

Per boat, not per head

Why a whole boat beats a bought seat

Per-person tickets punish groups. The maths shifts the moment your party passes two or three people.

Five steps

How booking a whole boat works

  1. Message us

Send your group size, date, and whether you want a half-day, full-day or sunset cruise.

  2. Get a dated quote

One flat per-boat price for your group, with inclusions and add-ons listed line by line.

  3. Lock the route

Trawangan for facilities, Meno for quiet reef and the statues, Air for easy shallow water.

  4. Agree the jetty

The islands are vehicle-free, so every pickup is dockside at a named jetty and time.

  5. Board and go

Gear is already on board. Your captain and crew handle the rest of the day.

Wild sightings are never guaranteed. The crew targets the best-odds spots for the tide on your date and says so honestly if the sea is against it.

When to charter

Charters run most reliably from May to September, the dry season — clear skies, warmer water and the calmest seas, which is what gives turtle and reef snorkelling its visibility.

June and July are the busiest weeks and book out first. September still has good weather with the odd shower and is the quieter, better-value end of the season.

October to April is not recommended: regular rainfall disrupts plans and roughens the water. We will tell you if your date falls badly rather than take the booking.

One note for sunset cruises: during Ramadan some shops close and the beach parties pause, so the islands are noticeably quieter — worth knowing if you want a calm evening rather than a party backdrop.
