When it feels best
May to August brings clear skies and warm weather, with June and July quite busy — book well ahead.
September still has good weather with the odd shower and is a quieter, better-value month, which many couples prefer.
October to April is not recommended, as regular rainfall can disrupt travel and roughen the seas.
If your honeymoon falls during Ramadan, expect a calmer island atmosphere — some shops close and beach parties pause, which can make a sunset cruise feel even more private but shifts your dining options.

Your skipper meets you at the agreed jetty — no cars, so pickup is on foot from the pier.
Getting here: fly Bali to Lombok in about forty minutes, then roughly two hours by car to Bangsal, then twenty to thirty minutes by boat. Fast boats also run daily from Padang Bai, Serangan and Amed, crossing in about 1.5 to 2.5 hours.
