Four ways to spend the day

Packages, priced by the boat

A private boat, skipper, fuel and snorkel gear in one per-boat price — not per person. A couple pays the same as a group of eight, which is why groups come out ahead of per-seat tours.

A Gili Islands boat charter package bundles a private boat, skipper, fuel and snorkel gear into one per-boat price, in four shapes: a half-day turtle snorkel, a full-day three-island hopper, a short sunset cruise, and an all-inclusive day with BBQ lunch.

  • You pick the boat and the route; we quote one flat rate for the whole vessel.
  • Because you charter the entire boat, a couple pays the same as a group of eight.
  • There is no government tariff for private Gili charters — every rate is operator-set.
  • Arranged by Bali Premium Trip, whose reservations team handles the booking directly.

The four tiers

Which package fits the day

Every tier is the boat plus the day around it. The differences are hours on the water, how many islands you touch, and whether lunch and a sunset leg are in.

Half-Day Turtle Snorkel

Ask for price per boat

  • 3–4 hours
  • Trawangan base → Meno turtle point + statues
  • Private boat, skipper, fuel, drinking water
  • Snorkel mask and fins included
  • Lunch and trip photos are add-ons

Full-Day Three-Gili Hopper

Most asked for

Ask for price per boat

  • 6–7 hours
  • Trawangan → Meno → Gili Air
  • All three islands, turtle and statue stop
  • Private boat, skipper, fuel, drinking water
  • BBQ lunch and sunset leg optional

Sunset Cruise

Ask for price per boat

  • 1.5–2 hours
  • Off Trawangan's west coast
  • Private boat, skipper, fuel, drinking water
  • Timed to golden hour
  • Snorkel gear optional, no island stops

All-Inclusive BBQ Day

Ask for price per boat

  • 7–8 hours
  • All three islands + BBQ + sunset
  • Turtle and statue snorkel stop
  • Hot BBQ lunch on board
  • Trip photos included

The turtle-and-statue stop between Meno and Trawangan is a commonly marketed highlight, but turtles, mantas and giant clams are wild. It is an itinerary component, not a promise of what you will see.

Add-ons you can bundle on

Photos or GoPro

An onboard photographer with edited photos, or a self-shoot rental.

Extra hours

Beyond the booked window, priced by the hour.

Jetty pickup

When to book

May to August brings clear skies and warm water. June and July are the busiest weeks — the earlier you confirm in that window, the better your choice of vessel and departure time.

September stays good and runs quieter and better value. October to April is not recommended, as heavy rain can disrupt travel.

One logistic that shapes every pickup: the Gilis are vehicle-free. You walk or take a cidomo — a horse-drawn cart — between your accommodation and the jetty, so build a few extra minutes into the meeting time.

Five steps

How booking a package works

  1. Send the basics

Your date, group size, and which tier interests you.

  2. Get a per-boat quote

Boat type, route, and any add-ons — confirmed in writing.

  3. Lock your route

Adjust islands, timing and lunch; agree the sunset leg if you want one.

  4. Confirm the date

A deposit secures the boat and the date; the balance follows the quote terms.

  5. Meet at the jetty

You get the pickup point and skipper contact, with walking or cidomo time allowed for.
